Why choose this

A small woven forest for the wall. The raised white trees catch the morning light and soften again by evening, so the clock looks a little different through the day. It keeps time quietly, and gives a plain wall something to rest your eyes on between the hours.

Designed by Akira Minagawa (皆川明) for minä perhonen. Bolo means “cake” in Portuguese, and that is the shape of these clocks: a soft, rounded dome wrapped in one of the brand’s textiles. Both designs have been discontinued.

Pine tree: white trees woven over navy, scattered with small green dots, with green hands and a butterfly at twelve. It comes in its original orange box, with one AA battery and a wood screw for hanging. This is the last one we have, and a rare find for anyone who collects minä perhonen.

Land Theater: green pine trees embroidered on pale cotton, with yellow numerals and pale blue hands. This one has sold out.
