Why choose this
One cheerful blue flower and two leaves on a small white oval plate, in the deep, traditional colours of Kutani ware from Ishikawa, drawn with a crisp modern line. Just the right size for a sweet with tea, a few slices of fruit, pickles, or butter and jam at breakfast.
By HAREKUTANI, a Kutani ware studio in Ishikawa that pairs traditional Kutani paints and techniques with modern designs. The maker's mark is printed on the base.
Microwave safe. To keep the overglaze colours bright, wash it by hand rather than in the dishwasher.
